שמחים להציג בפניכם את אופק טורג'מן, המרכז הבוגר החדש של שבט גפן!
אופק נמצא כרגע בתהליכי קבלת ויזה לארה"ב (ובעיכוב משמעותי בשל הקורונה) ואנחנו מקווים שהוא יגיע אלינו פיזית בתחילת ספטמבר.
אופק כבר התחיל לעבוד עם השכב"ג על בפעילות קיץ המיוחדת וההכנות לפתיחת השנה.

Dear Shevet Gefen Families, Chanichim and Parents! We are happy to introduce you to Ofek Turgeman, the new Shevet Gefen Meracez Boger! Ofek is currently in the process of obtaining a visa to the US (and with a significant delay due to the corona) and we hope he will reach us physically by the end of the month. Ofek has already started working with the Shachbag on the special summer activity and in preparations for the start of the year. The Gefen family!
חניכי והורי שבט גפן שלום רב, רציתי לכתוב מספר מילים ולהציג את עצמי לקראת הגעתי ללונג איילנד: המסע שלי בתנועת הצופים החל כבר בכיתה ד' בתור חניך בשבט "רגבים" הנמצא בכפר יונה , בכפר יונה גדלתי וחונכתי במשך 20 שנה. כשהגעתי לשכבה הבוגרת מלאתי תפקידים הדרכתיים ולקחתי חלק בפרוייקטים שונים בשבט. במהלך השנים בתיכון למדתי במגמת תיאטרון והייתי שחקן כדורגל. לאחר שסיימתי את התיכון , שירתתי כחובש גדודי בחיל השריון בצבא הגנה לישראל במשך 3 שנים. בשנתיים האחרונות עבדתי במחנות הקיץ של תנועת הצופים בישראל ובשנה האחרונה עבדתי בתנועת הצופים כמרכז בוגר בשבט הצופים "בן יהודה" , הנמצא באבן יהודה , המונה כ-1200 חניכים וחינכות. אני אוהב מוזיקה , לבלות עם חברים ובעיקר עם המשפחה. מתרגש מאוד לקראת הגעתי ומקווה להכיר אתכם ולהתאקלם כמה שיותר מהר! להתראות בקרוב, אופק
Dear Shevet Gefen Chanichim and Parents! I wanted to write a few words and introduce myself before I arrived in Long Island: My journey in the Scout movement began in the fourth grade as a chanich in Shevet "Regavim" located in Kfar Yona. I grew up in Kfar Yona and have lived there for 20 years. When I reached the Shachbag, I had several Hadracha roles and took part in various projects in the Shevet. During my high school years I studied theater and I was a soccer player. After graduating from high school, I served as a battalion medic in the Armored Corps of the Israel Defense Forces for 3 years. For the past two years I have worked in the summer camps of the Scout movement in Israel and in the last year I have worked in the Scout movement as a Merakez Boger in Shevet "Ben Yehuda", located in Even Yehuda, which has about 1200 members. I love music, hanging out with friends and especially with family. Very excited for my arrival and hope to meet you and get to know you as soon as possible! See you soon, Ofek
