Payments and Refund Policy for the 2025-26 Activity Year
Registration Fees - General
The registration fees include payment for regular, weekly activities during the year, personal insurance for the each child, and one necktie (aniva). The registration fees do not include a khaki shirt ($25), a white polo shirt ($25), fees for daily or overnight camps, special activities, or seminars.
Please note that registration is only available with a credit card. We do not accept cash or any other ways of payment. The credit card charge will not be for Shevet Gefen but for FOIS - Friends of Israel Scouts. Please do not cancel charges without talking to the Shevet Treasurer beforehand. Canceling the charge carries a fine from our payment provider, which the family will be asked to pay.
Registration Fees for 2025-2026
Registration Fees:
First two children: $735 each
Third child: $685
Fourth child or more: $635
A payment/installment plan is available during the registration process.
To receive a refund, please contact the Shevet Treasurer. Please do not contact her by phone or on WhatsApp. The refund will be calculated based on the date the application was sent to the Shevet Treasurer.
Membership Fees
Membership fees include a registration fee of $35 per child, which will not be returned under any circumstances.
Financial Aid
Please contact the Shevet Treasurer for any financial aid needs. Discretion is guaranteed.
Trial Period
Shevet Gefen allows three (3) trial regular peulot/meetings during the Trial Period only after registering and fully paying the annual membership fee. If you cancel the annual membership fee at the end of the Trial Period, you will receive a full refund (less a $35 registration fee per child).
Registration Fees for Camps, Events, and Special Activities
Camps and Events, such as sleep-away and other weekend camps, are not included in the Membership Fees and require separate registration and payment.
Refund Policy
If a child decides to leave the Scouts after the end of the Trial Period, no refund will be issued for any reason.
Late Registration Prorated Fees
Registration until 12/31/2025 - full registration fees.
Registration from 1/1/2026 to 2/28/2026 - about 70% of the registration fees.
Registration from 3/1/2026 - 50% of the registration fees.

The determining date for the purpose of payment is the day of joining the peulot and not the day of payment.
